South Dakota is known for its gigantic statues of a pheasant and jackalope, its palace made completely of corn, and the world largest mountain carving (we’re talking about Crazy Horse, not Mount Rushmore, folks). We’re also known for our generosity—the way towns small and large rally together to support one another, and important causes that make the communities in which we live, work and play both vibrant and inclusive.
The following nonprofit organizations have registered to participate in South Dakota Day of Giving, and are eligible to earn prize money from the Prize Pool. Don’t see your favorite nonprofit on the list? It probably means they haven’t signed-up yet. Email them, call them, and pester them until you see them showcased on this page.
