Four Bands Community Fund
Four Bands Community Fund (Four Bands) is a non-profit, certified Native community development financial institution (Native CDFI) created in 2000 to challenge, combat and provide a sustainable approach to addressing the lack of access to capital for residents of the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation and native entrepreneurs statewide. Our purpose is to create opportunities for individuals, businesses, and communities that are committed to financial independence and entrepreneurship. Over the past 18 years, Four Bands has made significant strides in turning the tide by investing in people through targeted financial products and a range of asset building strategies to increase economic opportunity. We are building a private sector from the ground up and dedicated much of the first 10+ years of our work to laying a foundation for future growth. The fruits of our labors are taking hold, and we have begun to see changes in the way our community thinks about financial assets and achieving self-sufficiency.
